Quotient Test for ADHD

Dr. Werner-Crohn is excited to introduce THE QUOTIENT ADHD TEST, which provides objective data for the assessment of ADHD. It is the only FDA-cleared test for ADHD and is efficient, reasonably priced, and insurance-reimbursed for children and adults.
Historically, ADHD has been challenging to diagnose because many of our assessment tools rely largely on subjective information from parents and teachers, in addition to clinical evaluation. In contrast, the Quotient™ ADHD Test gives us objective and accurate data to perform better assessments and to guide treatment decisions. The Quotient™ ADHD Test helps with differential diagnoses and can better clarify whether symptoms are not consistent with ADHD as well.

The Quotient™ ADHD System accurately measures motion and analyzes shifts in attention state to give a clear picture of the core symptom areas of ADHD:
·      Hyperactivity (the inability to control movement and sit still while working)
·      Impulsivity (the inability to inhibit inappropriate responses)
·      Inattention (the difficulty in staying focused and on task)

The Quotient™ ADHD Test takes 15 minutes for children or 20 minutes for adolescents and adults. The system collects data on the person’s ability to sit still, inhibit impulsivity and respond accurately to images on a computer screen. The test report provides analysis of motion, attention, and shifts in attention states. Integrated composite scores report the level and severity of inattention, hyperactivity and impulsivity compared to other people of the same age and gender. The report is available within days after the patient has taken the test.

Because there are often many factors to consider when assessing ADHD, and no single tool is sufficient to arrive at a diagnosis of ADHD, in addition to the Quotient Test we also perform comprehensive clinical interviews which include data from caregivers as well as patients.
